About Nancy Becker: Nancy Becker began working with glass in the mid 70's and is primarily a self-taught artist in the hand blown glass technique. Her Neptune Series reflects the undersea world while her spectacular Galaxy Series is inspired by the clear and star-filled Oregon skies. Nancy Becker's artwork is a brilliant mix of color fused with the unique skilled hands of the artists. Nancy reflects, "In our daily lives we often fail to connect to our individuality or notice the incredible beauty and sounds of the natural world. My pieces are done in series to reflect a reverence for the natural world and are unique in their individuality by nature of the process." Her artful designs have won many best of shows and she is an acclaimed West Coast Artist. Uniqueness of blown glass:  All Nancy's blown glass is hand blown manual "adjusted" if necessary and with no two works being the same.  While we try to match design and color as closely as possible to the listing image there will be variation in the fine glass you receive.  If you are uncomfortable in this arrangement then please contact the gallery and we can forward images of current inventory.  Our recommendation is to order on line and you won't be disappointed as long as you realize there will be variation in each work.  That's half the fun of it!
